Of course, this U.S. Army Veteran must celebrate Memorial Day in honor of those who paid the ultimate price for the freedom we enjoy in the United States and ………….the world!
To those who lost a loved one in the fight for freedom, please know that it was not in vain
The death of your loved ones in service to this great nation is not in vain
Because they dared to fight, we have rights
What are songs of national freedom without them?
There is no home for the brave and land of the free without them
Nations owe their freedom to our fallen warriors
Fascism, Nazism, Communism fell before them and terrorism is crumbling
They sowed the seed of bravery to reap a home for the brave
They died in service to reap a land of freedom
Their death shall never be in vain
We will NEVER forget!
Blest with vict’ry and peace, may the heav’n rescued land
O Say, Can You See
Praise the Pow’r that hath made and preserved us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto, “In God is our trust.”
