This post by my big brother, Matt brought to light the sacrificial faith of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Mary did not only believe God’s word concerning her, she put her life on the line. Pregnancy outside wedlock was shameful, and it meant she would be stoned to death. Mary’s kind of faith could have subjected her to mockery, but she didn’t care. It shows me that living the life of faith looks ridiculous most times, it is costly, and it is sacrificial. Even fellow Christians may call one stupid with this kind of faith, but it shouldn’t matter.
