Back to School Prayer of Thanksgiving for Our Children

As we send our children back to school this new year, let’s start the school year strong with the prayer of thanksgiving (an act of prophetic confession) over our children (you may replace the word child with your child or children’s name):

Heavenly father, thank you for your protection over my child.

Thank you for my child’s good health and sound mind throughout the school year.

Thank you that no evil will befall my child and my child’s school.

Thank you for exposing and neutralizing evil agendas against my child’s school.

Thank you for compassing my child with favor as a shield.

Thank you that my child is growing in wisdom and your favor is upon my child.

Thank you that my child has unusual academic understanding, knowledge and wisdom.

Thank you for helping my child to stay disciplined.

Thank you for giving my child the courage and wisdom to resist negative peer pressure.

Thank you for making my child a student of positive influence.

Thank you for blessing my child with compassionate teachers and friends.

Thank you for watching over my child.

Thank you because you are able to do exceeding abundantly above all I can ask or imagine for my child by your Spirit at work in me.

Father, I trust you. Thank you Jesus!

Do not undo your positive confessions with negative words. Repent if you do and continue speaking life over your children. It is well with our children!
