How Dare you!

“How Dare you satan!”, “Don’t you know who owns this child?”, “You messed with the wrong child”….Those were my words and attitude last week. The little one woke up wheezing and crying at night. While my heart was at peace, my spirit was aggressive. The little one deserves to sleep well, we feed him well, we give him holy communion, he does not miss vaccination… We do what God gives us wisdom to do in order to keep him healthy. We know when Mommy Bliss is needed and when a situation is beyond Mommy Bliss. We know when to use natural remedies God has made available. More importantly, we know when there is a spiritual attack.

I was not going to let the enemy win. I was not going to let him rob my family financially with medical bills. I was not going to allow the enemy steal my peace. I fought like a mother. I did it in the spirit.

We prayed, we praised. The little one threw up a lot of clear mucus. He sang, “yes Jesus loves me” and “it is well with my soul”..

We enforced our victory over the enemy!

Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV)

No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the Lord.

I was able to put up a fight because I once had victory over a sudden chest pain. Every breath was difficult. The doctor said it would take weeks to get better. I was not going to wait several weeks for my healing. The pain was too much to bear. I enforced my victory over sicknesses and diseases and got it. My personal victories gave me the courage to fight for the little one’s victory. Our children’s victories begin with our victories. That which cannot overcome us is not allowed to overcome our children.

I am not a religious fanatic. I just have a strong desire to see God’s Word prevail in every area of my life. On the journey of motherhood, I am a Warrior in alliance with God. I am inviting you to do the same.
