Friendly Reminder: Speak Life!

This post is another friendly reminder for us to speak life this season. Many are predicting financial crises and more casualties in the next weeks and months ahead. While this is logical, God’s children cannot live by sight and accept prophecies of woes and doom. As we speak life this season, we position ourselves to become channels of blessing to others.

Speak what you want to see in the days ahead.
Speak what you want to see in your home.
Speak what you want to see in your nation.
Speak life because your words are not worthless.

Our words put angels and demons to work. I only want to put angels to work and bring the works of demons to naught. We can do this together!

God bless you and thank you for reading. We win!

  1. Yes let’s lift our faith speak life and put the angels of the Living God to work in Jesus name. As Christians our words carry power because the Spirit of the Lord dwells in us.

  2. We are not God- what we speak doesn’t necessarily come to pass (thankfully). I could say that this time next year I’ll have a private jet, but how is that spiritual? That’s just as wrong as assuming I’m going to get the virus. Instead, we should submit to God’s will. All things work together for good for those who love Him, including the virus.

    1. Of course, we are not God. We are gods, children of the most high God (Psalm 82: 6 and John 10:34). We are kings and priests as well (Rev 1:6 and 1 Peter 2:9). These truths make our Words very powerful. Until the eyes of our understanding is opened to see more of who and whose we are daily, we will live thinking and talking like our words are worthless. Speak life means to speak what the word of God says about every situation. This is not for lazy people. Speak God’s will which is found in His word into existence and partner with Him to bring it to pass.
When sicknesses and diseases strike, we need to be careful about saying it is God’s will.Remember, God’s will is for all to be saved but many die and go to hell daily.
We have to partner with God to establish His will on earth (Matthew 6:10) If this virus is God’s will, why are we praying against it and working to develop vaccines? Why can’t we just submit to the disease?
Your final statement is absolutely true. What the enemy designed to harm God’s people will turn out for good.
I bet you are speaking life over your home this season.

      1. Don’t take Scriptures out of context. We aren’t “little gods”, although we sometimes blasphemously act like it, which is what those Scriptures refer to. There is only One True God; many false gods. Read Romans 8. God has subjected the creation to suffering. He’s sovereign over the four horsemen of the apocalypse, He’s not helplessly wringing His hands and hoping that some little gods partner with Him to bring them to an end. God is able to bring good out of bad things, even this virus, Job’s illness, Paul’s thorn in the flesh.

        1. It is revelation and it works if you believe it. It cannot be forced on anyone. You can accept or reject it, it is a choice. God help us all, bro. I bet you did not take time to read all the scriptures I presented. 🙂

          1. I’m familiar with them. They refer to religious people who think of themselves as little gods, rather than the adopted children of the Almighty

  3. This is so apt!. There is power in our words. And yes as the Bible mentions (and I paraphrased) that the power of life and death lies in our tongues. We should watch what we say and choose to speak Life always!!!. It’s very important.

  4. Amen. I agree that we speak life over this situation. Everytime I hear a negative prediction, I reject it in the name of Jesus. Speak life!
