Teething Lesson

I have no desire for the little one to go through the discomfort of teething or anything painful. Yet he goes through moments of discomfort and pain because they are part of the human experience. However, I pray for unusual strength and sickness free teething for the little one. I also ask God for wisdom to deal with the changes the little one is experiencing. It is working for me. I know God cares and I do not assume I m smart enough to figure everything out. The little one’s gum must rupture when his teeth is breaking through and those teeth are needed for him to experience the pleasure of eating crunchy food. The process sounds tough but it is worth it.

Our perception of earthly trials and pain makes all the difference. Being a Christian does not completely exclude us from trials, temptations, and other things that humans face. Some of us will become prideful, self-righteous and judgmental if we were excluded from unpleasant human experiences. I believe we go through trials so that we can become people of compassion, to help someone who will face a similar situation, and reveal Jesus.

Trials refine us and they defeat the goal of the enemy if we do not sit back and accept everything the enemy brings against us as God’s will. The enemy’s job is to do evil. satan hates mankind and he will continue to attack every human relentlessly. I believe our job is to put the enemy in his place of defeat.

Trials provide opportunities for growth and this season is an opportunity for us to grow our spirit, soul, and body. I hope that we will become more compassionate and we would have created a God-centered daily routine by the time this pandemic is fully under control in the natural realm.

Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Isaiah 54:15-17  (KJV)

For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!

~2 Corinthians 4:17 (NLT)

  1. Argh. Teething is usually painful.
Aww. It’s just part of the process. All you need is to be there for him. 🤗
Yes, I sincerely hope we maintain the fellowship posture even after this too. 🤗

How is prep for tomorrow?. ❤
