Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

The semester is officially over for me and the little one made my day spectacular with moments of star gazing. The little one has seen stars on the TV and in books. He has been singing Twinkle twinkle little star for a long time now without beholding a star with his own eyes. Tonight, that changed. He got to see stars in the sky and gazed till his soul was satisfied. Perhaps, he has seen stars in the sky before but he had no understanding or awareness until now.

The relief and joy of finishing the semester pales in comparison to the moments I spent watching the little one smile and point to the sky in awe. He kept saying “star” as he pointed to one star that shone brighter than the rest.

I had many thoughts and aha moments. I will share three thoughts with you all.

1. I look forward to reading Abraham’s encounter with God under the stars with the little one.

2. I look forward to telling the little one about the God who created the stars.

3. I am glad I serve the God who created the stars. Such awesomeness! I am thrilled that God wants me to experience Him daily. I do not only get to read about Him, I get to know and experience all the great things that have been written about Him. My father, my shield, my healer, my provider, and my everything. I am in awe.

Look up into the heavens. Who created all the stars? He brings them out like an army, one after another, calling each by its name. Because of his great power and incomparable strength, not a single one is missing. ~ Isaiah 40:26

PS: I will see you all more often here and on your blogs. I am stronger now ☺️

  1. Aww. Such a delight. Your baby is like me in this aspect. I love looking at the stars. The calm it gives, I can’t explain it. And during Christmas, I even noticed a set of stars come out only this period, for 3 consecutive years now. 😊
