Divine Intervention

When we think of divine intervention, it is easy to imagine God intervening for us to breakthrough or do the impossible. I believe that divine intervention also occurs when we are about to take steps or make decisions that can ruin our lives.

As the little one continues to assert his independence, I am learning to respect his choices and accept “no” from him. I mostly intervene and assert my authority as a parent when his choices are life threatening.

If I intervene to ensure the little one is safe from harm and protect him from life threatening choices, I have no doubt that God does the same thing and more. God is better than we are. He is the best parent. God intervenes in His mercy and sovereignty.

Today, I look back and thank God for not making some of my plans to succeed. Moments of disappointment are painful but I am glad for every disappointment.

Perhaps, we can start looking at some disappointments as divine intervention. Perhaps, God saved us from something destructive.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 (KJV)

The best Mother’s day gift!☝️♥️♥️♥️👌🏽

      1. Afternoon naps are great. When the little one naps, mommy have to nap as well because he wants your full attention when he is awake. 🙂. Those moments are precious so enjoy! It is a blessing to know you also.
