Encouraging News: 39 Children Rescued

My heart overflowed with joy and thanksgiving after seeing this news yesterday. When my spouse called me and said “God answers prayers”, I thought he was about to tell me about money matters. Then he showed me this news, worth more to me than money.

We have been praying for child abusers to be exposed in our neighborhood, city, and state. We are praying for child abuse free zones.. praying for heaven on earth in our communities. I was recently asking myself, how do we measure the effectiveness of these prayers. I heard, follow the statistics. That is, we have to check the statistics of missing children and child abuse rates in our communities consistently. A decrease means the battle for the souls of children is being won. With this news, I discovered more strategic ways to pray and follow the statistics (will share soon).

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. ~ Luke 11:1-2

Join me in thanking God for the rescue of these children and let’s continue to pray for children in our communities. Together, we can make a difference on our knees and through other means God lays in our hearts.

Remember, only the enemy looks for whom to devour. I am tired of people, even Christians claiming God is responsible for the evil going on in the world. The enemy, satan is the thief that comes to steal the innocence of children, destroy their lives, and kill them. Let’s prayerfully keep watch over our cities.
