Grieving Hearts

October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. This serves as a reminder for us to be mindful when comforting grieving parents. I do not know what it feels like to lose a child; I only know there is a God in heaven who understands grief, pain, shame, and every feeling that may come with the loss of a child. He does not only understand, He heals the brokenhearted, takes away shame, pain, and restores what the thief steals.

Isaiah 53:3 (NLT) He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care.

John 10:10 (NIV) The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Psalm 147:3 (NIV) He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Would you like to become a member of God’s family? Please say the prayer below and let me know about it here.

Say this: Heavenly Father,
I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe you exist and you sent Jesus to die for me. I receive your love and forgiveness. Reveal yourself to me. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Amen

Welcome to God’s family!
