Foxe’s Book of Martyrs

Foxes book of Martyrs is a long but important read for this age. Amber of Fish Full Life brought this book to my attention. I glanced through it and my heart was touched by the stories of those who died for the gospel. Some died so we can easily access the Bible today. May I never take my easy access to the Bible for granted. You can download the book below. Stay blessed and have a great weekend! ❤

Persecution of the Church

Most moms would lay down their lives for their children. We have said yes to C-Section to save our babies from distress. The joy of having a newborn makes us forget the pain and risks. We can rip apart a lion, walk through fire, and rip out our hearts to save our children. You know…

Would you like to become a member of God’s family? Please say the prayer below and let me know about it here.

Say this: Heavenly Father,
I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe you exist and you sent Jesus to die for me. I receive your love and forgiveness. Reveal yourself to me. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Amen

Welcome to God’s family!

  1. I have made this book, Perpetua, and other books about Christian heroes and martyrs available for my home schooled high schoolers to read. Some of them are required reading for us. It has been a good thing.

    1. Wow! Have you always homeschooled your children? I respect you. I am considering going that route, but it currently seems like a lot of work.. like a full time job.

      1. I have always homeschooled our children, but it has definitely been a year by year commitment. I babysat for many families as a teenager, and the difference between those children who were homeschooled versus those who were not was so pronounced that I made my decision then.

Young children can learn everything and more than their public school counterparts in just a fraction of the time, and they have more time to explore, play and learn in other ways that shapes them and allows you to influence their growth while still having time for you.
