My heart is grieved by the senseless killing of innocent people from all religious background in Nigeria. Many children have become orphans and women widowed in the name of religion. Every soul is precious in God’s eyes. God is not pleased with wickedness. When my heart is grieved, I pray. Prayer works. Those who say prayer cannot change some things are yet to understand the power of prayer. Prayer is communion with God. We talk to Him and He responds. How dare we say or think communication with the Almighty God, the creator of the universe, Yahweh, the God whose breath parted a sea, the only wise God does not change things! If we are praying right, things will change. Through prayer, we receive wisdom to change things. If we are praying God’s will, things will change. Please pray Psalm 7:9 against terrorist groups in any Nation God impresses upon your heart and please join me in praying for peace in Nigeria.
Bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure– you, the righteous God who probes minds and hearts. Psalm 7:9
