Are you Sad?

There is a little human in my house who considers himself my happiness coach. He constantly inquires about my emotional state because we have been communicating with emotions. After doing something wrong, we often have the following conversation:

Little One: “Mommy, are you sad?”

Me: “Yes I am”

Little One: “Nooooo, I don’t want mommy be sad. Mommy, are you happy now?”

…..And every day, the little one randomly asks “Mommy, are you happy?”

Today, I would like to be your happiness coach.

My friend, Are you sad? God wants you to be happy. I want you to be happy and I hope this song brightens your day:

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Philippians 4:4 (NLT)

Would you like to become a member of God’s family? Please say the prayer below and let me know about it here.

Say this: Heavenly Father,
I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe you exist and you sent Jesus to die for me. I receive your love and forgiveness. Reveal yourself to me. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Amen

Welcome to God’s family!

  1. Great post, Temi.
Children are extremely sensitive to our moods. They notice our facial expressions, and our body language.

Bless your precious little one in his desire to see you happy. ⚘🤗

  2. We are working on being able to identify feelings with our little grandkids. It’s so great when they understand and can communicate these ideas correctly. Is sounds like you’ve done a great job!
