No To Abortion

In response to fellow Christians’ outrage about Texas’ new abortion law, I posted the text below on my Facebook page yesterday. Thought it would be a blessing to share it here as well.

Non-political and Mental health views on abortion. Please read the article.😉 If you disagree, respectfully scroll away and go conduct your own research.

If you do not work with mothers recovering from the trauma of abortion, keep your pro-death opinions to yourself.

If your child has not had an abortion before telling you, keep your pro-death opinions to yourself.

If no one ever pressured your parents to abort you, keep your pro-death opinions to yourself.

I love you and I am praying for you.

For the pro-life Christian thinking you have lost your mind for saying no to abortion, be encouraged. We don’t overcome evil with evil. We don’t kill a baby because of evil.

If you are pro-life, start preparing your home for unwanted babies. Let’s support organizations taking care of unwanted babies and mothers who need help. After all, that’s what Christianity is all about.

Also, let’s be on the look out for pedophiles, rapists pretending to be friends and relatives. Most perpetrators of sexual abuse are not strangers. Don’t cover up evil and don’t be afraid to report sexual abuse.

More importantly, practice mindfulness. Please read more here: http://bible.us/r/6JP

Peace!

Abortion is not a political issue, it is a mental health, spiritual, and family systems issue. If we truly want to close the gap in disparities in maternal outcomes in the United States, we should be discussing the high rate of abortion facilitated by the strategic building of abortion clinics in low income communities.

Abortion adds another layer of trauma on traumatic events.

Pastors advocating for abortion should ask themselves what would happen to a mother aborting her baby while the trumpet sounds?

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21 (NkJV)

Would you like to become a member of God’s family? Please say the prayer below and let me know about it here.

Say this: Heavenly Father,
I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe you exist and you sent Jesus to die for me. I receive your love and forgiveness. Reveal yourself to me. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Amen

Welcome to God’s family!
