Sometimes, I feel like the little ones are getting in the way of my academic and career goals. I must not forget that family is more important than my academics and career. If I resent caring for my family because of my academics or career, it will reflect and affect my family life. I must always remember that my career and education can wait, but time with my family cannot wait. These are my thoughts this Sunday Night as I meditate on Proverbs 22:28 and reflect on the notes in the photo below. The elderly woman pictured below has successfully raised four adult children with this mindset; it would be prideful and ignorant to ignore her wise words.
The previous generation has set boundaries in place. Don’t you dare move them just to benefit yourself. Proverbs 22:28 (TPT)
