A few days ago, Isaiah 45:2 came to mind as I rushed to keep the little one from stumbling while climbing up the stairs.
I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: Isaiah 45:2 (KJV)
This is a Word for me to hold on to as I trust God with my future. If we as earthly parents seek to keep our little ones from falling, how much more God, the perfect Father. The Alpha and Omega sees ahead of us, and He has given us His Word to keep us from stumbling. God has the best plans for our lives. If He tells us to go somewhere or do something, He will go before us. We will stumble when we are outside God’s will.
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy ~ Jude 1:24 (NKJV)
