The Quarrelsome Wife

A foolish son is the calamity of his father: and the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping. Proverbs 19:13 (KJV)

A foolish child is a father’s ruin, and a quarrelsome wife is like the constant dripping of a leaky roof. Proverbs 19:13 (NIV)

Reflections: If I become an argumentative wife, my husband will not enjoy being home or look forward to coming home. The desire to prove myself right at all times can destroy my home like a leaking roof destroys properties in the home. Being a quarrelsome spouse is costly.

I have learned to ask God to give my spouse the wisdom to make right decisions when I do not agree with my spouse’s views or plans. Every argument is won justly in prayer. God is always right and His wisdom stirrs the home in the right direction.

Would you like to become a member of God’s family? Please say the prayer below and let me know about it here.

Say this: Heavenly Father,
I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe you exist and you sent Jesus to die for me. I receive your love and forgiveness. Reveal yourself to me. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Amen

Welcome to God’s family!
