What can Christians do amid persecution? Pray and encourage one another. In this blog series, I share warfare prayers and words of encouragement from the Book of Acts to win the battle against the enemies of the gospel.
Amid persecution, the apostles praised God, remembered His mighty acts and prayed for boldness. Can we pray the scriptures and see the same result? I believe we can.
Please pray Acts 4:24-30 (KJV) or any Bible version you prefer
Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:
Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?
The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.
For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,
For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.
And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
Continue praying with the Holy Spirit and with your understanding (1 Corinthians 14:15).

Would you like to become a member of God’s family? Please say the prayer below and let me know about it here.
Say this: Heavenly Father,
I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe you exist and you sent Jesus to die for me. I receive your love and forgiveness. Reveal yourself to me. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Amen
Welcome to God’s family!
