It is always exciting to hear my husband’s parents say our little one is doing most of the things DH did when he was a baby. They know my husband’s childhood stories and I am grateful they are alive to tell us about the similarities between their son and grandson. That’s a beautiful thing and I look forward to telling my children their childhood stories.
While there is no one to tell me stories about my early childhood, I find joy knowing God knows my story. God knows every detail of my life and that makes me feel special. I believe God’s love is enough to deal with mommy or daddy issues I may have.
For those who don’t know much about their early childhood, those who have never heard “when you were a baby” or “when you were younger”, and those who have no one to tell their early childhood story with joy like most parents do, God knows your story. The God who created the universe knows your story and you are precious to Him. How awesome is that!!??
Though my father and mother forsake me,
Psalm 27:10 (NIV)
the Lord will receive me.
God knows your story from when you were little. He also remembers everything you do to show him you love him and his people. Hebrews 6:10 🙂
Thank you. “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.”..Praise God!
Amen my little sister in Jesus 🙂
