Faith is the glue that holds life together. Without faith, it becomes challenging to navigate the uncertainties and trials of life. Without faith, it is very often impossible to see your triumphs. But what exactly is faith? Hebrews 11:1 reminds us, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Faith calls us to trust in what we cannot yet see, to believe that God’s promises will come to pass even when circumstances suggest otherwise. It’s the unseen thread that weaves hope into our hearts.
But how does this faith grow? Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” This means that spending time in God’s Word, listening to His voice through scripture, and reflecting on His promises strengthens our faith. Make it a habit to seek God first in every area of your life—your family, work, and dreams. As Matthew 6:33 teaches, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” When God is the center of your life, everything else falls into place.
And remember, you are never alone in this journey. Jesus promises in Hebrews 13:5, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” The Holy Spirit, our Helper, Teacher, and Comforter, lives within us (John 14:26). When you feel lost or unsure, lean into the Holy Spirit for guidance and comfort. He is always with you, ready to lead you closer to God’s heart.
I invite you into a deeper realm of understanding knowing that God has faith in you. He created you with intention and purpose. Psalm 139 declares that you are “fearfully and wonderfully made,” designed by God Himself. You are His masterpiece, created for good works that will bring glory to His name.
As you move through your days, I invite you to pause often. Stop, look, and listen because God is always speaking. Whether through His creation (Romans 1:20), His Word, or the quiet whispers of the Holy Spirit, God wants to guide and encourage you. He sees every step, every tear, and every prayer.
Finally, live each day with purpose. Press on toward your heavenly goal, keeping eternity in mind. As Philippians 3:13-14 urges, “Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Your life has eternal significance. How you nurture your faith today impacts you, your family, and future generations.
This week, commit to growing your faith. Dive into God’s Word, pray, and trust that He is working in your life even when you cannot see it or discern it. You are never alone—God is always with you, guiding you into His perfect will.
This begins a powerful journey of building your faith, brick by brick, in the ABCs of Life. Stay tuned for next week as we continue exploring how to value people!

It’s heartening to be reminded to nurture our faith with God’s Word and to be aware of His holy presence.
