Day 2: Even If We Keep Quiet, the Stones Will Cry Out
“I tell you,” He replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” – Luke 19:40 (NIV)
Today we lean into a bold truth spoken by Jesus as He entered Jerusalem: even if we remain silent, the stones themselves would cry out in worship. That moment wasn’t just poetic—it was prophetic.
There is always a way.
God’s love for humanity has always made room for praise, for revelation, for glory to rise. Even when hearts are hardened, and voices are muted, creation itself will testify to the greatness of God. Why? Because He is worthy—and worship must happen.
God’s Choice Is Us… But He’s Not Limited to Us
This truth gently humbles me. While we are God’s chosen vessels, we are not His only holy creations. The entire cosmos echoes His beauty. The mountains, the oceans, the wind, and yes—even stones—know how to respond to His presence.
Still, He chose us.
He chose you, mama.
He chose your children. Your home. Your voice. Your life.
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last.” – John 15:16
In this Holy Week, we remember Jesus’ deep and grieving love for Jerusalem—the people He longed to gather under His wings like a mother hen gathers her chicks (Luke 13:34). That longing hasn’t changed. He still pursues us with passion, cleansing our views, realigning our hearts, and preparing His bride—the Church—for His return.
The Work is Still Holy, Even When It’s Hidden
Motherhood was my holy awakening.
When I first stepped into this sacred season, I was wildly unprepared. I didn’t understand the weight of the call or the spiritual reality behind raising the next generation. But as I yielded to the Holy Spirit, something beautiful began to unfold: a holy training ground right in my own home.
Holiness isn’t just about what we lay down—it’s about who we’re becoming in partnership with Christ. It’s about saying yes, again and again, even when no one is watching.
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.” – 1 Peter 2:9
We are set apart—not in isolation, but in divine purpose. Whether you’re in the corporate boardroom, the classroom, the kitchen, or the carpool lane, your life is a living altar.
This is Bigger Than Us: Good vs. Evil
As I’ve studied the challenges Jesus faced this week—the resistance, the accusations, the manipulation—I realized something: it was never really about Him as a man. It was about what He represented: God’s goodness breaking through darkness.
It’s still the same today.
When you show up with peace, when you raise your children in truth, when you offer forgiveness, when you pray with authority, when you stand in integrity at work—you become a holy resistance to evil. Your life declares that Jesus is Lord.
You see, the battle has always been about good versus evil. And the cross? It sealed the victory for good.
“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 1:6
So don’t be discouraged, mama. When you feel overlooked, misunderstood, or weary—remember: you are part of something eternal. You carry a royal alliance, a priesthood, a heavenly assignment that even creation recognizes.
And may we never forget this: the stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone (Psalm 118:22).
That’s Jesus. And we build our lives on Him.
Today’s Invitation
Let this day be one of sacred alignment.
I invite you to ask the Holy Spirit:
What areas of my life need to cry out in worship again?
Where have I been silent where God is calling me to speak or sing or serve?
Where is Jesus cleansing my heart so I can be ready for His return?
May we not need the stones to cry out in our place. May our lives echo with worship, and may our homes be built on the Cornerstone.

Amen- Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. He is worthy of our praise and adoration
Yes, he is! He is worthy 🙌🏾.
