Are you burdened for our brothers and sisters who are persecuted for their faith in Jesus? I share this burden with you. My heart has been especially heavy this week for those living in regions where following Christ can cost everything: their safety, their families, even their lives.
Even here in the United States, we’re witnessing the rise of a spirit of confusion and hostility toward Christian values. Though the forms of persecution may look different, the spiritual battle is very real.
But here’s the good news: Jesus reigns. No matter how dark the world seems or how fierce the opposition becomes, He is still building His Church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18).
