As we go about the week, let us remember to place God’s Word before our eyes and in our hearts. The Bible, God’s Word is our guide. We cannot live a purposeful and love filled life without studying the Word. We should never forget that some people laid down their lives in order for us to easily have access to the Bible.
The Word of God is so powerful, the enemy does not want people to have access to it. Bibles are still being smuggled into nations. It is so powerful, the enemy’s goal is to keep those who have access to it from studying it. It is so powerful, the enemy wants those who study it to doubt and not live it.
The Word of God is so powerful, the enemy wants everyone to believe God’s Word is archaic, restricts and takes away our liberty.
The Word of God in our hearts and on our lips puts us in command of our world. That’s what the enemy does not want.
The commandments of the Bible are summed up in this – love God and love your neighbor as yourself….and these commandments are not grievous. They are for the good of humanity.
The Word of God is freedom. The Bible is good news, the best daily news!
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for [a]instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. ~ 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (kJV)
Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. ~Joshua 1:8 (NLT)

There is no other Book like it!! It truly is living and active (Hebrews 4:12), but as you rightly remind us Temi, we must open our bibles and take the Word into our hearts and minds praying to Holy Spirit to give us the understanding He would have us receive.
