BRAT diet is always my go to remedy for diarrhea. BRAT stands for Banana, Rice, Apples (apple sauce for babies), and Toast. You can read more about the diet here
When the little one has diarrhea, I know it’s time to change his diet. Many times, the diarrhea is explosive, out of control, and gets on the rug. Isn’t that just like life sometimes? Our emotions get out of control and life can get overwhelming.
We don’t continue eating regular food to get rid of our stomach virus. Our body forces us to change our diet to help put our digestive system back in order. The same concept applies when we feel overwhelmed and life is out of control. We need to check our diet. Are we meditating on negative words, words of doubt and fear?
I would like to introduce you to a spiritual BRAT diet. A diet that can help you put things back in order and enforce our victory. I have used it and it works.
Bible study: There is no better cleanser like the Word of God. Replace your social media time with Bible study time and see what happens. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Rest in God’s love: Believe it, resting works. Chill in God’s presence like a child. Let God love on you. Hebrews 4:11
Ask for wisdom: Wouldn’t it be amazing to know just what to do when all your plans come crumbling, when there is uncertainty and no clarity about what’s next? James 1:5 (God’s Word Translation) says “If any of you needs wisdom to know what you should do, you should ask God, and he will give it to you. God is generous to everyone and doesn’t find fault with them.”
Thanksgiving: A thankful Christian is a fruitful Christian. This is one of my favorite things to do. I keep my eyes off the situation and give thanks to God for the finished works of Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
Enjoy your meal! ♥️

So simple yet so powerful! I think the rest can be the hardest but the Bible says we should ‘strive’ to enter that place of rest.
Thanks for sharing sis.
