Philippians 4:13 reassures me of God’s supernatural strength in me. This verse is helping me stay calm and sane this season. I truly believe worry or anxiety have been kept under control because I meditate on God’s Word as I take each challenge one day at a time. Having a scripture themed wallpaper can help […]
How many of you get tired of repetitive play with your little ones? I will confess that I do. A piggyback ride is good exercise and fun but I do not want it to last for more than 10 mins on a wood floor. Yesterday, I piggybacked the little one till I had no more […]
Being a student can be mentally, physically, and emotionally tasking. When you add motherhood or parenting to the picture, it is a different ball game. It takes more self-motivation and commitment to thrive as a student-mom. Over the past few years, I have completed graduate studies as a pregnant student and I am currently a […]
Cheers to new beginnings! Cheers to new adventures! Cheers to a new decade! It is a good day to be alive, and I am thankful you are alive to read this! We are breaking limits this year!
My postpartum weight loss journey started five months postpartum, after getting a medical approval. My postpartum body was not glamorous. I went from being military fit to being chubby. I can remember crying as I checked my weight, took pictures and body measurements for my fitness coach’s…..
Before the year ends, take a moment and thank God for the gift of life. You may not have accomplished your goals, but you have life in you. Being alive is an accomplishment, celebrate it! Before the year ends, close your eyes and think about the heartbreaking moments and disappointments you felt this year. Thank […]
As I reflect on my baby’s milestones, his God-given natural abilities, his periods of frustration and his relentless nature; I am reminded of my need to grow and utilize my spiritual gifts.
I have struggled with the sin of comparison on several occasions. I always depend on God’s word to bring me back to my senses. There are several verses in the Bible that remind me of my uniqueness, royal identity, and God’s plan for me. Whether we compare ourselves with others just to feel like we […]

BRAT diet is always my go to remedy for diarrhea. BRAT stands for Banana, Rice, Apples (apple sauce for babies), and Toast. You can read more about the diet here When the little one has diarrhea, I know it’s time to change his diet. Many times, the diarrhea is explosive, out of control, and gets […]
It took almost one year for the little one to grow two front teeth. Meanwhile, he started “teething” when he was 4 months old. Teething was uncomfortable. The little one kept chewing on his fingers, teething toys, and anything mouthable. There were instances where he was grinding his gum. Interestingly, the absence of teeth didn’t […]

From one step to five steps and finally countless steps, we have been cheering the little one along like the cloud of witnesses. DH and I have been waiting for these days. Honestly, I have been imagining the little one holding my legs while I workout and moving all over the house with HIS OWN […]
I don’t know what to call the sleep training method my husband and I have been using since the beginning of the year. The cry-it-out method??!! I am not sure. This is because we don’t leave the little one in the room to cry till he falls asleep. His father is always with him. I […]
It was a drawn-out elongated journey where the beginning of a dating relationship with a boyfriend began to slowly change my daughter. When a teenager becomes quiet and stays in that distance, to me that meant her mind was loud and busy. For a young daughter to go from doing her hair and putting thought into her style of clothes to just putting her hair up in a bun and wearing lounge around clothes. Something was wrong!
The little one threw up twice after feeding. As a professional Googler, I turned to Google to find out why he was vomiting…..
I learned that I shouldn’t expect to receive more gifts/ideas/revelation from God if I am not effectively utilizing or doing all He has deposited in me so far….
Some days ago, I came across a video where individuals were told to replace the phrase ‘I have to’ with ‘I get to’. My sense of appreciation for life and motherhood was heightened by the video.
