Foxe’s Book of Martyrs

Foxes book of Martyrs is a long but important read for this age. Amber of Fish Full Life brought this book to my attention. I glanced through it and my heart was touched by the stories of those who died for the gospel. Some died so we can easily access the Bible today. Welcome to God’s family!

  1. I have made this book, Perpetua, and other books about Christian heroes and martyrs available for my home schooled high schoolers to read. Some of them are required reading for us. It has been a good thing.

      1. I have always homeschooled our children, but it has definitely been a year by year commitment. I babysat for many families as a teenager, and the difference between those children who were homeschooled versus those who were not was so pronounced that I made my decision then.

Young children can learn everything and more than their public school counterparts in just a fraction of the time, and they have more time to explore, play and learn in other ways that shapes them and allows you to influence their growth while still having time for you.
