National Day of Prayer (USA)

The power of prayer gives me hope for the United States and other nations of the world. When the choices of our political leaders grieve our hearts, it should drive us to a place of prayer. Anyone can criticize, but not everyone can pray fervently for change. May we become people of prayer. It is difficult not to criticize. However, we must not align our words with the enemy’s agenda. Let’s keep these scriptures in mind as we pray for the United States today and everyday:

2 Chronicles 7:14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Jeremiah 29:7

And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.

1 Timothy 2:1-2

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people- For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

The best way to pray this season is to pray in the spirit. We will impact more lives and places when we do not solely depend on our knowledge and understanding in the place of prayer. I encourage you all to do this.

Romans 8:26

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

1 Corinthians 14:15

What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

Also, pray for our brothers and sisters in India.

Would you like to become a member of God’s family? Please say the prayer below and let me know about it here.

Say this: Heavenly Father,
I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe you exist and you sent Jesus to die for me. I receive your love and forgiveness. Reveal yourself to me. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Amen

Welcome to God’s family!
