Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge. Hebrews 13:4 (NKJV)
When we take our eyes off the one who is worthy of all honor, we lose the ability to hold our marriage in high regard. Dishonor leads to defilement. Let’s be covenant keepers. For the believer, the Bible is the standard for living, not popular culture. God’s Word is ancient but always relevant.
Reflection: How have I honored my marriage today?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for my marriage. In the name of Jesus, forgive me for dishonoring my marriage. I come before your throne of grace to obtain mercy. Have mercy on me Lord. Give me the grace to honor my spouse. Teach me to honor my marriage.
Would you like to become a member of God’s family? Please say the prayer below and let me know about it here.
Say this: Heavenly Father,
I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe you exist and you sent Jesus to die for me. I receive your love and forgiveness. Reveal yourself to me. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Amen
Welcome to God’s family!
