And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. Luke 1:30 (KJV)
Before the angel could deliver God’s message to Mary, the angel’s first proclamation was “fear not.”
Fear makes it difficult to receive, believe, and submit to God’s will. Fear keeps us from fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives.
The angel called Mary’s attention to God’s favor upon her life. Favor is an extension of God’s love. When we live conscious of God’s love for us and his favor upon us, we master the spirit of fear. Fear not, God’s favor is your shield this season (Psalm 5:12).
Please ponder these scriptures and make these declarations:
Proverbs 29:25 (KJV)
The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
I put my trust in the Lord. The fear of man has no hold on me.
Isaiah 51:12 (KJV)
I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;
God is my source of comfort, I will not be afraid of any man.

Would you like to become a member of God’s family? Please say the prayer below and let me know about it here.
Say this: Heavenly Father,
I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe you exist and you sent Jesus to die for me. I receive your love and forgiveness. Reveal yourself to me. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Amen
