Glory be to God! We made it! We have 365 days to unveil the benefits and mysteries of God. 365 days to reveal the love of God and shine the light of Jesus through our words and actions. Before 2021 ended, I had an interesting conversation with my first little one. He asked if I was still growing like him. I told him I was no longer growing physically (in height), but I am still growing in my mind and spirit. And I plan to continue growing this year. The growth I do not want is my body mass index (BMI). I am sure a lot of you are with me regarding this- getting the BMI right. So, this month, expect a blog series on mastering your body- putting a knife to your throat. We will learn how to apply self-control and become more disciplined with food. We will study Daniel and other biblical figures who mastered their bodies. You don’t want to miss a single blog post this month!
