It is Well

Women received back their dead by resurrection; and others were tortured [to death], refusing to accept release [offered on the condition of denying their faith], so that they would be resurrected to a better life

Hebrews 11:35 (AMP)

What can we learn from the Hebrews 11:35 women’s experiences? Today, we will begin with the story of Elisha and the Shunammite woman (2 Kings 4:8-37).

2 Kings 4:23&26 (AMP) says:
The woman’s husband said: “Why are you going to him today? It is neither the New Moon nor the Sabbath.” And she said, “It will be all right.

Elijah said: Please run now to meet her and ask her, ‘Is it well with you? Is it well with your husband? Is it well with the child?’”

And she answered, “It is well.”

“It is well” is one prophetic statement we say a lot in my home. We are intentional about speaking God’s sure Word of prophecy in good and challenging times (See Joel 2:10 & 2 Peter 2:19). We truly believe Romans 8:28.

And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.

Romans 8:28 (AMP)

And when we miss it, we quickly repent.

The death of a child is one of the most devastating experiences. Yet, the Shunammite woman dared to say, “it is well.”
I am a proponent of telling grieving parents “it is well”, IF you are sure God is leading you to raise their dead child. Otherwise,  keep your “it is well” in your heart and use your internal “it is well” state to comfort grieving parents.

The Shunammite woman exemplified the practicality of faith in God. Faith is belief in the almightiness of God, and it is evident in our words and actions.

What are you saying and doing to reflect your faith in God?  Are you speaking God’s Word of prophecy over that dead situation?

If we want things to be well or alright, we must speak and believe God’s truth about every situation.

Believe and Say, “It will be all right.”

Believe and Say, “It is well.”

And you will see what you say and believe in alignment with your heavenly Father’s Word.

Jesus replied to them, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, if you have faith [personal trust and confidence in Me] and do not doubt or allow yourself to be drawn in two directions, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen [if God wills it]. Matthew 21:21 (AMP)

Believe the Word, Speak the Word, and See the Word manifest

If today was your last day on earth, do you know where you will spend eternity? Are you sure you will make it to heaven? If you are not sure, you need to give your life to Jesus Christ. Please say the prayer below and let me know about it here.

Say this: Heavenly Father,
I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe you exist and you sent Jesus to die for me. I receive Your love and forgiveness. Reveal yourself to me. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Amen
