
Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”

In the previous post, we addressed the fact that the word “love” is first used in a parent-child relationship because God wants us to understand that we first come to know love through human relationships with our parents.
Today, I invite you to ponder this truth- God pays attention to the love between parents and children, and God will hold us accountable for the impact of our parenting (Romans 14:12). We should always ask God for mercy and the grace to do parenting His way.
