Fear

The most powerful and comforting Word I heard today:

Isaiah 51:12-13 (NIV)

I, even I, am he who comforts you.
Who are you that you fear mere mortals,
human beings who are but grass,
that you forget the Lord your Maker,
    who stretches out the heavens
and who lays the foundations of the earth,
that you live in constant terror every day
because of the wrath of the oppressor,
    who is bent on destruction?
For where is the wrath of the oppressor?

A great reminder that the fear of man dishonors God. I cannot say I honor God and be afraid to speak the truth. I am glad this scripture is being planted in my heart today. Take a moment and meditate on this scripture. How sweet and powerful is God’s Word!

Light shines when it is dark. Truth dispels lie. How dare we be afraid to shine the light of Jesus, hide the light of God and conform?

You are a child of God. How dare you fear what mere mortals can do to you?

Do you think you can control your situation by being afraid?

Who are you that you fear mere mortals?

Never forget who your Heavenly Father is.

May we never forget how great, majestic, powerful, and indescribable our God- Jehovah is.

The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37). The world needs Jesus. Do not be afraid to speak the truth.

Would you like to become a member of God’s family? Please say the prayer below and let me know about it here.

Say this: Heavenly Father,
I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe you exist and you sent Jesus to die for me. I receive your love and forgiveness. Reveal yourself to me. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Amen

Welcome to God’s family!
