ThanksLiving

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV)~ In every thing, give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. As a parent, I am learning to give thanks for everything because it shifts my mindset and helps me master negative emotions. Much more than that, it is God’s will for me to give […]

Helper

Writing on marriage today because two wonderful people in my life said “I do” again today. Marriage is a beautiful thing. We reap what we sow into our marriage.  The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” Genesis 2:18 (NLT) What comes to […]

Empty Pouch

Recently, I asked the little one to give his brother an empty pouch of caprisun in exchange for a full pouch of caprisun. He refused my offer because a full pouch was not in sight. I was upset that he could not look beyond the moment and help solve the problem at hand (calm his […]

The Stay at Home Mom Life:He is My Peace

Recently, I came across two heartbreaking stories in the news. The first was about a father who was facing a life sentence in prison, for causing permanent damage to his newborn. The father woke up in the middle of the night to sooth his crying baby, and got more frustrated as the baby continued crying. The older son was also in the room with them, and the father got even more agitated….

Learning Forgiveness and Patience From the Little One ❤

It’s hard, difficult and pointless to be mad at my baby because he is yet to develop the ability to differentiate between wrong and right. In fact, he smiles when I tell him he has done something wrong.
Forgiveness becomes easy when we understand that those who have wronged us or hurt us do not truly know what they are doing……..
